Sold the bike finally, made a big loss for me ..considering state of things but at least its gone to get revived somewhere else..(unless they decide to wreck it of course..) Not my problem anymore though is it...

This was my latest project, not anymore now on trademe...

The Cbx

Had enough of watching it sit in the shed and brought an 84'Yamaha XJ 750 instead, difference being it was running had rego and a wof, just had to change fork seals check brakes and service.

This cbx project needs, screws and bolts for fairings etc, fluids in the brakes as brakes have been dry for a long time so has the clutch, the calipers may need re-kitting not sure. And diagnose why it won't start? its a project pure and simple always wanted one got one and couldn't do anything with it....had a stockcar like that recently too dammit. If you aucklanders are wondering why I don't reply to your questions its because I can't be bothered with you bugga's really.....so nothing personal lol, if I've blacklisted you on trademe I'm picking and choosing who I want to auction too as is my right as a seller.

Moved the flat chassis up the back to live

Moved the old car up the back yard after a struggle, see the pics below. May use her for measurements one day and make a similiar flatty but with higher sitting drivers seat and a center mounted big six for thumping power.

Its amazing how once you've got the egine in how everything just falls in around it with small adjustments of course...

More progress

Spent a few hours yesterday doing the engine mounts and will finish them today, I'll probably start putting the drive train back together and the brakes next then the bits that make it go and steer (got a mr2 pump under the house ready to mount on the to be made firewall ext)brake master will be mounted under the seat on the left. I put the corvette body on for a test fit and the bars are actually inside it but I'll still probably cover the rear ones right up to please the diss-ers, what is this 20 year rules crap by the way??? If the body goes over the cage who cares what it looks like? Your paying for it aren't you? and you have to put up with the coments good or bad, my aim is to get to krizo's league and make a nice shape alloy or sheet one eventually. Or at least learn how to make a fiberglass one that I like as there's been some bl--dy good idea's on macgors lately! Macgors NZ speedway
