The car I brought but never raced....

Here's the car I brought from over hastings way and never raced, it had a ugly old boat anchor chev in it at one stage but not when I brought it, got a ZF out of it though. It went to Tauranga before the season started and a girl was going to race it as a step up from saloons.

It wouldn't suit my driving style I'm afraid and I'd have to raise the cage on it.
Didn't think it would last here in Palmy either and it looks like I would have been right.

Not feeling to bad today, had my second physio and got some breath taking buttons pressed in my shoulder and back...got to keep stretching and keep warm.

Sold that wheelman thats in previous post but still have my personal plates if your interested.

Was looking at buying this on trademe 2002 Suzuki GSX1200Y to do up and re-sell, after a bid fight for half an hour with another palmy guy I gave up, I'm glad I did after reading the unanswered question on the auction once it was finished. It closed at $4,670.00, could cost a thousand to put right at a guess and then it may be worth 8000 - 9000 if you ood at selling without a conscence....get it right then trade it on something maybe.

Ouch that hurts

Hi Race fans...the 4th was a nervous night for me after the week befores big hit...thought maybe I'd get a few bangs which I did initially but 3 laps into the second race it turns out the 31p in his $$$ car holds grudges and hit me from behind off the end of the pit straight and as I've been told I turned right(Link to macgor post and hit the wall full noise and rolled over back on to my wheels and it was la la tinky winky poh...woke up near the stadium somewhere just before they were going to cut my cage off and stopped them. Xrays, pills and no breaks thank fate....whats bl--dy god got to do with it eh...

Want to say thanks to everybody who cared enough to come up the hospital or go down to the car to ask how I was cheers again!

Dougy Booth (25p super)was two curtains down from me and he's off to Burwood today with a fractured back...he was moving his toes so hopefully he'll be ok...He's got two very good mates who were up there looking after him too...Cheers guys!

He was turned off the pascal st corner in the big crowd of supers and headed staright in I mean straight in to the wall..I watched that race and they were still cutting him out when I got dragged out there...Good luck mate!!

We'll aprt from severe bruising and some mean grazing where the lap belts got me (I'll try do some pics for the ladies lol)I'm fine and sure payback is a bitch but...some people just have to get over it..Right with that I'll sign off, follow my own advice and when I finally get to see my car I'll get soem pictures up for you to look at...Think more people should be doing these blogs so the guys coming through the classes or anyone can maybe learn from our mistakes and hopefully avoid them all togther....when I can afford a Hans device I'm there (anyone want to buy me one lol)
Those super stock drivers without a racetech or one of those devices are playing with there spines in my opinion....safety helps confidence too..

Ok enough drivel hope you all got something from this and as the Arnie swassinginger said "I'll be back" (Gotta sort out a sponsorship proposal one day)
